been weird it's more like the mid Atlantic states now than the New England I grew up in.
We need some measurable precipitation, its been over a month since we have had any sort of rain. |

Up to 12" of rain in the 14-day forecast. But if we keep getting these awesome edible mushrooms, I can deal with the soggy weather...

Daily rain -- sometimes heavy -- is not great for our forthcoming move. We still have not had a freeze, though one morning I saw 33F.
On the non-weather front, our Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dog went to a new home on a horse ranch a couple of weeks ago and the last two llamas went to their new home two days ago. In another intriguing non-weather development, the new owners of our rural place own an antique fire engine, which will show up on the 20th to be stored safely in the large shop.

Dropped into the 30's overnight on Saturday, so I changed the filter on the heater and fired it up.
