I read page one and about 45 pages on through the iOS app and didn’t see it asked. I can’t search this particular thread via the iOS app.

So excuse me, Snarky pants.

All I learned from the image taking up all of the screen space on my laptop is that your phone is almost out of juice.

LMAO.

I read all 99 pages and dont see anything about 360 view for the m2 other than it doesnt have it now. My question still stands. Do you think we'll see it at some point?

I think what he meant (but I could be wrong) is that this level of detail (particular special equipment) is too detailed for him to know/answer.

But I guess it must have something to do with the different bumpers/fenders the M2 has (assuming the G42 has the 360 camera), so my educated guess would be: If at all, then for the LCI, in case BMW decides to redo the bumpers, which is not a given for an M car.

Yea, it sounds like its not going to happen. What shame. Im on my 2nd G80 M3 and ready for a change. I was all hot for the M2 until I realized they have no 360 view. I use my front one a lot. So its a must have for me. Bugs me that the M240I has them, but not the M2.

Shouldn’t need the front one if you are practicing proper ABI techniques. Vic55 can impart great wisdom on this subject.

LOL ABI is a way of life and for those with no front camera.

I now have two G8X's (CS's) that dont have the front camera. Im going to be ok... barely.

Backing in (car only) is a very good thing LOL

I don’t need them. But I want them. If it was a m2 CS, I’d not care so much. But it’s a base m2. It should have the option.

No cameras. No drive recorder. No x drive. I might as well just keep my loaded dravit/full red, 22 g80 m3 with ID 7 and 19k miles. I’ll hold out for the m2 x. X drive will make up for the lack of cameras.

I agree, IMO the top of the line 2 series, the G87, should be offered with 360° cams just like the base model 2 series. Even the 230i has them as an option. They are super useful for peeking around the corner when exiting an alley, when parking in general to avoid curbing your wheels, etc.

Just to check if there is a typo/mistake on the first page where it mentions NA5 twice with different info:

NA5 iX3
In production 7/25-10/33 in Debrecen with the European 50 xDrive. A single US model will start production in 03/26. Production at SLP starts in the second half of 2026.
Model range: 40, 40 xDrive, 50 xDrive, M60 xDrive
Will be the first model to use several new features. The most interesting ones are the Panoramic Stage interface recently previewed in the NK concept (it will be standard) and the Augmented View. The options we're already familiar with will include Iconic Glow exterior, the first use of multifunction seats with massage function on a 3-series level model, and various M features (M packages, M trims, M seats, M steering wheel). At least at this time, there is no autonomous driving beyond Level 2.
May include ZA5 iX3M.

NA5 iX3
In production 05/26-04/34
Could launch with just a single version.

EOP F70 and F74 was 2033 if I'm not mistaken? That seemed long in my book but anything you can add on bringing EOP forward in time?

I can't really add to what is said in the top post: the data for these models had 2033 initially but was recently changed to 2030. I can't read the minds of BMW managers so either the EOP was initially undecided (but you need to have some number in the system so someone put 2033 there) or they did want to have a long run but then changed their minds.

TBH I can't imagine someone making their buying plans in 2024 based on those numbers, so it's all pretty academic now.

thanks for the info!

The new M3 will be both hybrid and.......heavy I guess...... But, overall, another combustion M3 in the future is a good news.

Definitely easier to fit a pre-lci rear bumper to the LCI than fitting a lci front end to a pre-lci

Yah. This was known for a while already. In fact, for the longest time word was the gran coupe would be the only surviving 8er. But according to the OP we're still getting a coupe and cabrio as well. Just not as a full-on M.

With the upcoming i3 being spied on the road this week something tells me we'll be seeing spyshots of the new 8er soon as well.

That is if they haven't been cancelled yet
