I've lurked but not sure I want one that bad. I love the history of the watch and I do love my dive watches. I'm still waffling on a Seiko Gold Tuna, they were the real deal back in the day with the commercial diving guys I was working with.

Here is my 422 on a special strap. It’s made from and old Soviet rifle sling I got while deployed to Afghanistan.

That’s one of the great things about this watch. And there are some great options from different strap makers. Vintager straps is my favorite for quality and customer service.

3 PAM's currently
On left is PAM 93, one of the first mechanicals I got around 2005. Preowned, still one of my favorites. Tiitanium case. I'd never heard of the brand, but my jeweler showed it to me and I immediately fell in love with the case including the crown guard and the blue dial. First time seeing a power reserve dial (hey I was new to the hobby). Got me used to wearing 45 mm watches too. Black rubber strap recently replaced as the original cracked from old age and much wrist time. I think it sells now for around what I paid or a little more, but that's just luck. Wasn't bought as an investment. Middle is PAM 1664 Blu Notte I acquired last year in a trade for a PAM 605. 605 is a Florence Boutique LE 99 pieces and 47 mm; see more info below. Had it around 10 years and wore it often, but it was HUGE. Love the carbotech case and the dark blue sunburst dial. It's on a blue rubber band; I'm probably gonna get a blue croc strap at some point. Right is PAM 505 Radiomir brown ceramic case and brown dial; hard to capture the brown--often looks black. They were supposed to make a brown ceramic Luminor, but for some reason they didn't. It's my only one with a display back. Does not get a lot of wrist time and paid full MSRP as I had to have it asap--not the wisest decision in retrospect. So $3-4k wasted. PAM 605 had an amazing anthracite sunburst dial and I'm planning on replacing it with probably a 943 or possibly a 739; both are a little smaller and thinner. Will have to get the matching grey suede strap.
