Compared to it's predecessor (the 2002/2002tii), it was argued how dramatically heavier it was (imagine that thought lol), how it didn't handle as well, how it was slower, uglier, much much more expensive, etc, etc. The fact that BMWNA was only a year old at that point, having bought out Max Hoffman the prior year, and that they were embarking on a quest to move BMW way upscale and to attract a much wealthier clientele didn't help either. It was viewed as the beginning of the end for BMW, lol...almost 50 years ago now.
Rinse and repeat, my friend.

The decision...

Do I get one last Manual M4 (or M3) or do I wait for the G84 to get what undoubtedly will be a superior car.

I can't be alone thinking about this...

Are you seriously asking "should I buy a car now or in 4 years"?

That's a totally separate decision.

You think this is bad? You should see how finicky the Porsche community is. Some people still aren't over water cooling and fried eggs. If only they had a big grill to scramble them on.

Are you fucking limp dicks still talking about the grilles after 4 years? Move the fuck on. Don’t buy new M cars then and keep whatever you have with your hyper original ideas.

FYI you can thank the grille for the amazing cooling the G8X offers stock over previous generations.
I like to see more of Gang80’s posts. I love his style!

I really hope they make the grilles even bigger. The large grilles seem to have caused a level of brain rot among the G series BMW community which results in nearly every discussion resulting in hilarious back and forth disputes lol. I barely even use Netflix anymore - the G series forums provide better entertainment

Ofc you buy the LCI M4 since it will get discontinued and will be the last M4(+ an ICE one, no hybdrid or electric bs), I believe will depreciate slower than the current M3s.

Brain rot? We don't instigate, we react. Don't simp.

No need to get so triggered, take a deep breath and relax lol. No need to get your feelings hurt anytime someone makes a joke on social media. I have no clue who or what I’m “simping” for. Your sentence is missing a noun.

This is precisely what I was talking about
