F20 airbag recall?

Hi guys just got a saftey recall letter through the post from BMW about replacing the drivers airbag.

Just a little bit worried about them messing with the cars ecu, as mine has a stage 2 tune.

I asked the person when booking it and they’ve noted it down and I didn’t give them consent to hook up to the car, when they asked.

But I’m still a little worried hearing horror stories of people cars getting bricked or at least set back to stock.
