I hear you…

An umbrella policy is very effective

And it’s very inexpensive by comparison

Ho my god it's got the peak interior config when the screens were still integrated in the dash and proper buttons for climate control !! I miss those days so much.

Excellent news! The concept car I saw back at Goodwood earlier this year was stunning

I just hope that some of the 50 lucky new owners will actually use them and not keep them locked away in a garage.

Group buy anyone?

Yuk, garish.
Im sure it will appeal to the cashed up retiree types.
Be surprised if anyone under the age of 60 buys one.

This is pretty cool…wish they went bespoke on the interior with fully analog gauges versus the parts bin ID7 though.

The way to go is mass market EVs and do small builds of ICE cars for collectors, according to BMW at super high prices (lets say 200k-600k range). If they can do a high volume ICE like 911 it would be 200k, and if they do the route of CSL or this Skytop - 500k+. Still a lot cheaper vs Singer or restomod cars, and they can really go back to their catalog and release their greatest hits, like E39 M5, E34 M5, E30M3, E9 CSL, E46 M3, perhaps Z8. Charge absurd amounts (above collector examples) and Im sure enough people will pay to bag these extinct species. Low volume will make them exempt from many laws too, something thats currently unfairly abused by restomod manufacturers.

And automotive self driving porridge like neue klasse 3 series AV could be what they sell en mass to likes of Uber and Lyft to get the cash flow going.

Reskinned 8 series with $500,000 price tag. Not attractive, at least for me. So many intersting cars at that price.
