So interesting, if you remember back 4 years or so, some professional sports player balled up his C8 in Las Vegas. Sadly, he killed a young woman and her dog. IIRC the C8 driver was up over 100 MPH at the collision, about double the speed of Douche Bro when collected the the Armco with his Maclaren. I remember being impressed how well the front end of the C8 held up (as compared to this Maclaren). Both of the C8's doors easily opened post collision (again, not forgetting the tragic death of someone who was killed in the collision). Decent engineering by GM with its 1st shot at a mid-engine Corvette.

The Douche Bro's Maclaren's front end looks like it easily collapsed and ripped apart at just a bit over 50 MPH. Any more speed in this accident and Douche Bro may have had some mangled feet and broken legs. Lucky boy.

^ That's the trouble with mega expensive sports cars, you get a lot of speed and aero tech with a hyper engine and carbon chassis with fibre glass body even but little in the way of crumple zones with steel and alloy (only the hood on the McLaren is apparently alloy) in case of a whoopsie like this.

As for the "severly underpaid, overworked, forgotten, abused", I would be happy to tell anyone that feels this is their situation that they should spend less time complaining about it and more time looking for another profession. I found a new job about 6 months ago that I thought was better than the last one. I didn't see complaining about the old job changing anything.

If you disagree with something I said or think its wrong feel free to say something. Thanks for reading my post, your reply is meaningless, literally saying nothing.

Exactly. Even if money is not an object (in my dream) for me. I will not buy any mega expensive super sport car. Just one accident in those cars could take away my life. There is no second take

Not sure what you guys are on about regarding the crash structures.

The part you don't EVER want to crush is made of carbon and surrounds the cabin, and you can quite clearly see in screenshots from the video that the McLaren has deformable crash bars likely made from aluminium in the front to absorb impacts.

This thread is a nice microcosm of so much that is wrong in the world

Unified complaints in this thread:
“Society has gone to crap!”

Solution:
“Someone should sue!”

As if a lawsuit would fix anything when in fact that type of mentality has led us to the current precarious state of society.

This is however a beautiful example of idiocracy leveled upon idiocy. It does not get much better then this thread.

You are all for the most part incredibly thick. You, not this kid, are the reasons why things have gotten progressively worse. He is just the end manifestation of this world you continue to build based on some perverted moral code, for which I have trouble assigning the word “moral” with.

I see that now but this wasn't even a head on impact only a right angled slight impact with armco and a long slide which ripped off nearly everything from the front. We can see the right side seemingly thin skinned alloy bar hanging off broken, so what use would those bars be on a full frontal or more angled impact.
