Distracted kid wrecks his McLaren

20 YO 'Social Influencer' Jack Doherty hit a shallow drift of water while looking at a hand held phone on a Miami highway and skated across the road into an armco totalling his paint splashed wrap covered McLaren injuring the photographer sitting next to him.
Still on camera with the blood spattered photographer in the passengers seat Doherty can be seen using a lot of french in being annoyed at the state of his wheels and his account on kick has been forfeited for safety reasons.

I find it sick that after he had this incident he asked if his photographer was ok and then proceeded to comment straight about the car rather than get him and his photographer to a safe spot and attend to his photographer who has blood running down his face and head. No car is more important than life.

I can't see the photographer filing a charge against Doherty as he chose to be there doing that which is always a risk but driver could be culpable by the state of not being in full control of car and getting himself in hot water on video with just one hand on the wheel not watching the road conditions.

It would be surprising if there were no further repercussions.

I'm almost sure Florida State will pursue him for that and after his insurance pay out will find it hard for someone to insure him b/c of his age and risk, it's good that other vehicles were not involved.
