Profile picture invalid

I'm trying to change my profile picture (jpg) and keep getting "invalid file"

As far as I can tell the file meets all the requirements: smaller than 750 x 480 and far less than 789.5KB.

It uploads, but when I hit save changes I get that it is an invalid file and the profile picture does not change.

It's not just you.
I've been experiencing the same issue. My file is 350x350 and 210 kb, well within the requirements.
