Superior Products Dark Fury: Safe on OEM wheels?

I’ve seen a product called “Brake Bomber” online and found out that it is a copy of another product called “Dark Fury” by Superior Products. What’s appealing about these products is that it’s a mostly spray and rinse application with little to no agitation required, which I’m a fan of since brushing down OEM G87 wheels is a major pain in the ass.

What I’m wondering is if this product is safe for the finish on OEM BMW wheels. Has anyone here used it before? I feel like Brake Buster is doing literally nothing and I have to scrub the wheels for like 20 minutes for the brake dust to come off.

The strong alkaline cleaners are not the best on brake dust and are very harsh once you get to the strength of Dark Fury. Give Koch Chemie MWC a try, it will do what you want although it smells terrible. The iron remover based products are much more gentle as well and don't degrade sealants and coatings very much compared to the strong caustic products. MWC, Tuga Green, Armour Wheel cleaner, Griot's Heavy Duty, etc. these will all do 1000x better than Brake Buster, which is weak sauce against brake dust as you found out. MWC is the best though by a bit.
