Thumbs down Kobalt air compressor no holder holds air pressure

My Kobalt Model# 0332041 will no longer hold pressure for any length of time.

If I turn it on and let it build pressure then start using it, it's fine. It will, of course, turn on periodically when the pressure level gets low during use.

It's just annoying to always have to deal with it not holding pressure anymore.

Is the regulator, most likely, shot?

I've seen the regulator be culprit, I've had luck improving the issue cleaning and lubing the o-ring.

Do you disconnect the hose when not in use? If not try that.

Tried it, No dice. It's likely just the regulator

I've never had a compressor or a portable air tank that didn't leak to some degree. I just make sure to turn it on ahead of time. Annoying but not worth my time to tear it apart lol.
