Love my rare F13 BMW 650i (this is a 1 of 1 build spec). For sale now with a lucky buyer pending. They won't build another car like this ever.

Current platform 9Y0 Cayenne uses a rear drum-in-hat parking brake.

Your attempt at sarcasm notwithstanding, window cranks and 8-tracks have nothing to do with actual driving and brakes are for stopping. A more appropriate comparison to saving manuals is saving mechanical steering (instead of steer-by-wire) as in both cases, it's about bringing back better driving feel/connection to the road.

I don't value power steering and electric windows. Electric parking brake is a bullshit outrage (I am happy I don't have it!) and I don't need any reasoning against that.
