It was 30 years ago today that this deadly earthquake shook the greater L.A. area.

I'm starting to see a pattern here. I vaguely recall one or two being caught on the Pacific coast surrounding tremors - queue the Pacific Rim videos.

There was a 4.5 quake a little bit ago tonight. Nothing big but it reminds me I live in earthquake country.

"Did ya fell it, baby?"

Can't remember the last one I actually felt, short of going back in the WAY back machine to 30 years ago.

Was not far from me. Felt like someone slamming a door hard.

"A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck the San Bernardino area Wednesday evening and shaking was felt across Southern California, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The USGS says the quake struck at about 7:43 p.m. and was centered almost 2 miles southwest from San Bernardino."
