Ceramic Coating

So I just got ceramic coating done, and on the drive home i got demolished by bug guts. I know im not supposed to wash it for a few days so what would be the best way to get the bugs off? I would assume no soap, so water or a ceramic safe detail spray?

Water if anything. Check with your detailer. Bugs are acidic and will affect your paint. The longer they are on there is negative. Worst case you remove them and he recoats the affected area as needed.

I see. The place I had mine kept it indoors overnight. In fact it stayed there 2 days due to weather. Nice of them to hold it.

You might want to check with the shop that coated your car as they should be able to instruct you, and might depend on what products they used.
