I put PPF on all my cars including used ones. Even if there's a few chips already, the clear bra goes on and makes sure there's no new ones. It can make existing chips and paint look better too.

But unless you have a car that is an appreciating asset and plan to keep it forever, all you need is to wrap the front of the car. Wrapping a whole car is insanely expensive. Also remember that clear bra is a maintenance item - you need to replace it every 5-10 years.

Ceramic coating is just a durable wax/sealant layer... I'd just DIY that. If you can wax a car, you can ceramic coat a car.
