Best way to peel kiwi?

So the wife wanted to try these but I dunno how to peel them. I searched on YT and think the 'best' way I know so far is to cut both ends a wee bit, then use a spoon to separate the flesh from the skin. If you have a more efficient way using less tools or it's faster, lemme know.

I always assumed that it was a fruit indigenous to New Zealand due to the name but it's actually from China!

Anyway, TIA.

1. Wash the peel, pick off the little nub and eat it whole. I get comments on this one but the peel is delicious

2. Slice in half and scoop out with a spoon. Prepare for a juicy mess.

My uncle has a farm up in Frisco area. We would get a bushel box each summer

Cut in half between the two ends, like citrus. Scoop out with spoon

I usually buy the golden kiwis. No need to peel, just eat the skin and all. They’re way less furry than the green kiwis and fit my laziness

Cut each end off and use a vegetable peeler, peeling toward you with the fruit bearing against the thumb of the hand holding the peeler.

When I ate them, I'd just eat the whole thing. Same with shrimp. I'd eat the shell and all...well except for the legs.

I wouldn’t eat skin on the green ones but the golden kiwis are absolutely delicious whole.

Tx, I'm leaning towards that method. I bought a box of 6, still sitting in the fridge, I'm afraid to eat them.

You can also shave them with some Neutrogena Sensitive Skin shaving cream using a good razor. I find the Gillette Mach 3's work pretty well. They're easiest to shave when you take two and set them next to each other so you can get a good, tight grip with one hand.

I used the cut-in-half-then-use-spoon method, I guess that's the best way even though some juices come out. Anyway, a nice fruit alternative. Ironically, my wife (who told me to buy them) doesn't like it so I gotta finish the rest.

I missed the "of 6" in your statement "I bought a box" I thought you were going to need to eat a quite a few per hour/day.
