It was an odd stat the way it was posted. It should have said percent of wins from pole. It was just taking total poles and total wins.

It’s certainly a stat that I find interesting. What it tells me is that despite not always starting from the best grid position Max is able to win with pace and race craft.
I recall that last year, his avg starting position was like 3rd and to me it’s more impressive when someone can win from grid spots other than first.
