Agreed, but him going into early retirement caused us a lot of boredom due to milk toast Bottas getting plowed by Hamilton. Nico wasn't having any of Hamilton's shit and wanted to win, I wish he would have stayed at Merc and made some very boring years at least competitive.

I'm not a big Hamilton fan but in my opinion he got hosed out of his championship last year. It was predictable there for a few years but this year has been excellent with three teams in the hunt.

I actually admire Nico for leaving it behind after beating Hamilton as opposed to what, for example, Vettel is doing.

Yeah, definitely not though... especially if you selectively ignore how the entire season Max was getting screwed in a car significantly slower starting from Brazil.

Max was 100% the champion of the 2021 season and he's definitely a better driver than Lewis is.
