Posting Photos

Hi all,
Forgive me - I'm new here, but is there a simple way to add photos to a post or a reply?

Ive tried the "Add a file" way and it keeps coming back as invalid.

Was hoping you could just click drag copy and or paste like the way I would add a pic to my email....But that doesn't work either.

Any help is appreciated!
