Ethos D3FY…Game Changer

This stuff is advertised as a waterless wash. My detailer gave me a 24oz bottle as a ceramic coating booster, or a maintenance wipe. One word… AMAZING.

I've been using Beadmaker, Turtle Wax Ice Seal and Shine, Sonax BSD, etc. Spray this on, and wipe it off. No streaking, with a clean, dry microfiber, polish out with another dry microfiber, and run your finger through it. Squeaky dry. This stuff is amazing.

I asked my detailed, yesterday, what should I be using for upkeep. I hobby detail, on the side, so, I know all of the products, but I just wanted his opinion on what he thinks I should be using. I asked about reload, and beadmaker, and he says, "I install all of CarPros products, here, but reload isn't what I would use, personally, it smears too much for me."

I said, Beadmaker, Sonax BSD, Turtle Wax Seal and Shine, he said "no" and turns to one of the other detailers, and says, "go grab a maintenance kit." He brings out a bag of microfibers, Defy and Ceramic Shampoo. First response, was, "Really?" I was familiar with the name, as id seen it all over the detail community, but, I hadn't actually used any of their products. One spray, and a wipe changed that. I even sprayed it on the windows, wiped it, and it was dry and slick. But you'd think spraying it on the windows, would make a mess. Dry to the touch, with one wipe.

Adam's products are much better. The Graphene advanced spray is unreal.

Defy is a waterless wash, ceramic booster. The Adams Advanced is an 18-24 month ceramic spray coating. I'm not trying to coat the car, just waterless wash/ ceramic boost it.

Interesting thoughts on this products.

Ive read about Ethos products on other detailing forums and generally they are considered "Ok" and not much better then other items.

I'll follow this thread and see what others think.

I'm with you. I'm heavy into detailing products. I skipped it, myself. I'm into CarPro, Gyeon, Kamikaze, 3D, Rupes, Sonax, ONR, CQuartz, etc. I had my car full PPF wrapped, so, I had them coat it, as well. Otherwise, if I was just going to compound, and polish, and do a ceramic coating, I would have done that by myself. I just like the fact that they can get their hands on pro coatings, and I wanted a Pro coating on the M.

When I first took a look at this, online, I was in a chat group, where the owner of the company was trying to come in, and make posts, and justify its existence. Not just D3Fy, but all of his Graphene coatings.

I was just impressed with D3fy as soon as I sprayed it on the panel.

It's amazing. And it actually leaves enough protection behind to last a few months. Great ceramic topper. It wipes smear free on glass. Amazing product.
