I've got a ZebraLight H600w Mk IV. I use it for backpacking and it lights up the trail like its damn daylight out, even on the low settings. I was skeptical if it was worth the price, but its literally night and day difference over my Petzel.

I've got a few other headlamps also I use from time to time, but other than my Zebra my favorite is my PrincetonTec Remix Pro MPLS. I use that on my ACH. The fact it turns on red first is a huge bonus for anything tactical, and its red light that's actually usable.

Strange looking headlamp, but pretty cool. It's actually pretty compact

Back in the day, I also had an elusive (at least in NY State) 6 x D-cell Maglight. They were deemed weapons after I bought it, and indeed many police officers at the time used to carry one in place of their baton.

After my hospital stay, they sent me home to die with a 24/7 IV infusion pump that ran on C-cells. The infusion company sent sealed boxes of 12 Duracells every week with each IV and supply shipment, and the pump only went through 6-8 batteries per week. Long story short, I have a whole 4-foot roller toolbox drawer full of C-cell batteries if anyone needs a box or ten.

To take advantage of my C-cell battery bounty, I bought a whole pile of 3 x C-cell LED flashlights for all of my vehicles, around the house, etc. Among them are Defiant, Husky, and Maglight flashlights. The Maglight one sucks the chrome off of a trailer hitch ball, which was a surprise to me since it was my go-to brand and cost the most of the bunch. The other two brands are awesome, although Defiant is apparently unobtanium/out of business these days.

Surprisingly, the flashlight that gets used almost every day around here is one of the Hazard Fraught magnetic "puck" lights that they sometimes give away for free with any purchase as a promotion. This is a newer version of the ancient one that I have, free this weekend and normally a whopping $1.79:

https://www.harborfreight.com/lighti...ght-63878.html

I keep it magnetically stuck to the side of my bedroom night stand roller toolbox, and grab it for those frequent nighttime trips to the driver's lounge triggered by diuretics and old age.....
Truth.

During my time as a First Responder, we would reach for said Mag Light to institute "Mag Light Therapy" for difficult patients.

I always called them "Tickle hats" because #Moonshiners. I just plop it on my head if I need to go into the yard after dark.

I have several variations of mag lights in drawers around the house/my night stand.

Some ex-firefighter gave me these red multi-function lights that have a shirt-hook. I hang one on the rack in each server room, in case the generator is running, or I'm just too old to read a S/N off an item without removing it from the rack.

It will take AA and Cr123A batteries which was clutch when the tornado hit my house and I couldn't get to the store for 3-4 days. It never leaves my side.

Good stuff. I have yet to find a better quality flashlight brand. Mine is a different model, about same size. Tried others but I always go back to the Streamlight. After almost 2 years of use, I have found that the Streamlight CR123A batteries perform the best, and will last longer than other brands.

Not porn. Those are high-end escorts.

I have a few Surefire flashlights. One is around 20 years old. They make really good lights for really high prices.

These days, I prefer Streamlight.

Ms. Moto, have you been to https://www.candlepowerforums.com/ ?

Take a look at Zebralights, they are above and beyond the streamlight even. I upgraded my streamlights to Zebra 5-6 years ago and they have been amazing.

Zebralights have an amazing build quality with one of the best - if not the best - e-switch UIs.

Loving my SC 600 Mk II and been rocking it as an EDC almost ever since I got it.

Also recommend looking at these https://theskilledsurvivor.com/flashlights/

Without a doubt my favorite light for working on cars and in the house. It's lightweight, long lasting and quick charging battery, has a massively strong magnetic base, variable light output, and will hold it's rotated position.

No problem. I watch the "South Main Auto" YouTube channel and he uses the light all time. The guy is a repair stud/guru and hilarious too.
