Kick 6, what is your opinion on the booster that is being discussed recently, specifically Pfizer.

Booster shots look to be very effective.
My thoughts are that these will continue for sometime to come.
And while your at it get your flu shoot. This year looks to be worse than the past.

So I suppose that means people are going to have to get booster shots forever. I don’t believe those articles anyway but if you do believe them get ready to roll up your sleeve every six months from now until you die.

All that being said we've come along way in a short period of time in determining fact from fiction in the medical world but nothing is 100%.
I look at it this way do I go with the Alex Jones of the world or the scientific community? I think that's an easy call.

The rub here is the experts are not always right, and Alex Jones et al are not always wrong. If you're not using any discernment and just playing the averages then yes you might be better off going with the consensus, but that is a also a good way to be led down a rabbit hole of quasi-information if you fall any way outside the average.

We have come a long way in the medical fields, but the health care industry as a whole is operating under the paradigm of "sick care" and symptom amelioration, rather than correcting root causes. This sells a lot of pharmaceuticals but doesn't do anything to restore actual health. The field of nutrition is the worst, following the recs of a RD is almost guaranteed to if not outright cause health issues then not improve them either. Ditto Diabetes "care".

To your earlier point, I get it, many people don't want to hear about anything that involves self discipline, much easier to sloth and glutton then go in for that shot or pill.

Agreed. Based on the articles…. if you had the shot ….it lowers one’s own body to naturally fight the Wuhan Flu. And the booster is required to “make up” for one’s body to fight and become dependent on future boosters.

Fortunately, I’m in a position that I haven’t and will not get the experimental mRNA gene therapy drug. I had covid in August 2021… flu like symptoms for 3 days and recovered no problem.

You bring up an interesting point and something I have witnessed that no one is talking about. Hard core athletes that CrossFit or people that train really hard along with long distance runners often have very high levels of oxidative stress. Oxygen debt can occur and when anaerobic metabolism starts, so does the increase in free radical production. That does not go well with COVID and they would be at increased risk for complications. Exercise is a good thing as it improves circulation, but there is a fine line between working out too much and not enough. I have actually stopped lifting weights until I can get a better grasp on what is going on. I would advise light to moderate workouts.

I used to do a huge amount of cycling; racing, then ultradistance events. My experience syncs with your throughts. When I was really digging deep in the training regimen, my general health got to be pretty delicate. I've read anecdotal reports from elite athletes that sound similar.

I'm fascinated by why in July 2020 me and the missus both had Covid but I was running 15 miles a week during it and she was laid up like she was on her death bed.

Are there other infections that vary that widely on how they attack the host?

You have to admit that’s one positive thing about Covid. All other disease including dying of old age went away.
