It's worrying when they don't come on but we've been told the powers down, 2-3 weeks in some places.

Hold up. 2-3 weeks no power? 2-3 weeks of Sara not being able to do her hair?!

Ahhh, we finally get to witness - Apocalypse Sara.

Agreed. I know KSCarrol posted a hit and think he said they were headed to SC. But still a few more we need to just hear a peep from.

I’m sure they’re fine and will check in eventually. Last I heard there was one death in Nola when a man drove into a flooded underpass and I think two on the Northshore where a tree fell on a house and, I’m not making this up, a man was killed by an alligator in his back yard during the storm…

I want to believe that was karma at that point.

Like he owned a pair of croc skin boots that was the mother to the croc who ate him cuz that's about the worst luck I've ever heard in my life, lol

Garage List
I remember during Hurricane Irma I didn’t have power for about 30 hours and my job location in Brickell (downtown Miami) was flooded for days. Being w/o power for weeks would drive me insane, unless I was on the beach with a cooler, unlimited ice with drinks and unlimited NY pizza and Peruvian food, I’ll be good.

Hey y'all!! Thanks for checking in! It's been a bit of a whirlwind. Our house had some wind driven rain and fence was down. We stayed and at 10am on Sunday we started with 50-60mph gusts. I would say we had abnormal winds for about 14 hours.

I was prepared. 3 cases of water and 5 gallons. We had 32 gallons of gas and 2 generators. Food was stocked as well. The problem comes after the Hurricane when we didn't have water for about a day. Water pressure finally came back yesterday & still on a boil advisory. Cell phone service was shit. It was hot . Miserable hot. You sweat when you sleep and you take a cold shower and are sweating within 5 minutes. You sweat all day and there is no reprieve. We had fans but in 90+ degree weather it was cooler outside.

We waited for Entergy to get an assessment on power outage length before we left. We rolled out yesterday am to N AL. Even though we were stocked, we would eventually need gas and it's extremely limited. Some places are allowing on 15 gallons and the lines are anywhere from 1-3 hours. Just not worth it. It was nice to have a hot shower and AC last night.

I hope all is well with everyone here. Will catch up one day

It will be in the shape of a blow dryer or heels. The bat signal that is.

We still don't have power. When it gets restored we are not rushing back either. It's so nice where we are that it makes me not want to go back
