I think Max especially liked Hugenholz (first of the 2), allowing for different racelines.

(even though both Baku and Singapore are street circuits, and I really like races held on street circuits....but as we've seen this year... there was even talk of to do away with Monaco...(talk about iconic GP's))

Both my Uncles flew P47s in the pacific. Right Col. Glen went on to fly B47s and B52s. Col. John retired after the war.

Edit: Uncle John flew photo recon over Hiroshima after the bomb was dropped

The Tiger fire power was like hell...

Not many may know this but Tigers ran on petrol with Maybach engines and not diesel, saw a Tiger I in the flesh at the Bovington tank museum and a working example too that was used in the film 'Fury' together with the Sherman Firefly that was the hero. I believe it's the only working Tiger 1 working in the world and Poland has one or two working King Tigers.

Yeah the scene in the 'Fury movie from 1 German Tiger tank vs 4 US Sherman's was very violent !

Decisive but perplexing scene from the film in that Wardaddy was on open turret directing the 76mm and the Tiger was firing blindly not turning to face the Sherman from the front aimer or with the tank commander looking from top of turret (not that I would want that to happen but in a real situation this would seem more plausible.

Actually the whole Zandvoort circuit is amazing .

But the North Sea is very near ,so I really wonder what about the wind ?

Even a later 109 was not a match for the heavier P-47 with it's eight .50 MG's with spread fire and one by one they were literally shot out of the sky.
