The Bimmer - The Sun - The music

Under bright sun light, I drove my bimmer for a spin and listened to the classical music. I drove around clover leaf interchanges. As long as I hold the steering wheel tight and follow the curve, I felt the car was very stable, even stuck to the road. It was fun. I felt good, really good.

I dug my E85 out this week and drove it Tues-Weds to work. It's not a straight line fast car, but I forget how it is more like a go kart during the winter when it's parked. There is a road 2 turns before my work coming off the main road and onto a almost deserted side road (which you can see traffic on it for 1/2 mile before you even turn) that shows this off - I barely let off the gas. There is a slight bank, but almost none which makes it even better.

This car has zero roll - and I mean zero. Took someone to lunch with me weds and on the way back I decided to give them a clinch moment on that corner. Their hands flying up to hang on and the laughing out loud made me remember the first year I bought this car and gutted the suspension.

Something about sideways G's just makes me a kid a again. Having the top down and the weather perfect just makes is all the better. The value of this car is shit, but I still have a lot of fun in it.

Been contemplating selling my F33. I have 3 turns on my 10 mile commute. My wife and I really don't go out at night anymore, just to the downtown areas for lunch or brunch. I feel like its I'm wasting its life but I love the way it looks.....
