Constantly have to login again
I'm not sure if there is an issue with Chrome or if there is something wrong in my settings but I constantly have to enter my ID and password every time I log onto the forums even though I check "remember me". Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, same issue. I am using latest Chrome with latest macOS on a late-2015 MacBook Air.
No problem with latest iOS on an iPhone X. @mkoesel do you have any insight? |

I would believe "Remember Me" should only mean your username stored (in cookies) and supplied - not willing to try as I value the cookies I allow and I choose to remember myself every time .
Grabbing the password (to store it in a place "safer" than your memory ) should be authorized explicitly (by the browser rather than the page) as it does compromise your security in fact. |

By the way, even the Web pages are "optimised" for devices (the browser supplies device type info and the server responds sending the "best" appropriate version of the page) these days. |

I have just the opposite. No change in browser. When I logged directly into E90Post, it didn't have either username or pw saved. I could just close the browser and no one would be the wiser.
Last week I swapped to X3.bimmer (got a new vehicle!!) and now when I close the broswer, then start up again and type the address, I'm auto logged onto the site. |

Did everyone having issues with needing to log in again for every visit to this forum check their browser's cookie retention settings? I've been logged on through the BMWi forum front end for months now without needing to re-login.....

This is still happening, ironically when i came to reply to this thread in particular !
I've looked at the cookies in the web inspector, it seems they are set to expire in a years time, so unsure why it keeps logging me out multiple times a day |

Back 20 minutes later, same browser session, same tab, yet again i've been logged out and have to get in again. This time, i visited the homepage, bimmerpost.com and clicked on the X3 forum link in the top nav

It makes no sense. I have checked and rechecked "remember me", and the site doesn't work.
I need to re-log in each time when using latest Chrome with latest MacOS. |

Again, I'm just the opposite, I don't want it to remember me.
When I was logging into E90, the check box to remember me was UNCHECKED by default. Now I have a new vehicle, and when I go to X3bimmers, the box is checked by default again. I went into Chrome settings and told it not to remember me. |
