Miami beginner golf lessons recommendations?

Anyone have a recommendation for an instructor in the Miami area?

I am 45 and have played less than 10 full rounds in my life. Never took lessons but went to range some and ended up shooting around 110-115 each time. I haven't hit a ball since moving to Miami 5 years ago, but would really like to try to get back into playing.

Not going pro, and can't justify super expensive coach. Want to (and eager to) learn, but I also want to be able to enjoy it...if that makes sense.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Joe

I would go to your local course and find a pro your are comfortable with. Most will run through the 10 basics to get your swing right. One I used filmed me and showed where to improve. Mine was a Nike scratch golfer in Hilton Head, and dropped me from high 90's to love 80's, in 4 lessons (well with practice to put lessons into course). His total bill was $100 lol

Have fun and good luck

TopGolf in Doral.

There’s another one in Miami Gardens but the area sucks. Doral is much nicer.

I've been playing for 40 years and have taken many lessons over the years. I found GolfTec to offer great lessons. They analyze your swing with computer motion detection and then work from there. Then it's practice, practice, practice. I haven't played in eight years, but now that my daughter is taking lessons I'm going to get back at it.

Thanks all! I'll look around and see what I find.

I'm guessing that as a beginner any professional instructor should be able to offer some value to me, so I shouldn't worry so much?
