Just found out why MAX was slower today .

From his latest interview :

“It’s been a good day again," Verstappen noted afterwards. "With the heat and the wind it is not easy to find a perfect balance around the whole lap. But overall I would say it was a positive day.

"There are still things to improve and look into for tomorrow, tyre wise and a bit of balance tuning," he pointed out. "Plus I think it will be even more windy which is a challenge for everyone in these cars."

I think part of it is a weight thing too. In testing, they don't have the same limitations on total weight as they do in the race.

Really rooting for Checo this season I hope he fairs well.

I didn't saw everything . Drove back home from work .
But I could watch the Q3 . Just on time !

For the moment the new Mercedes invention isn't strong enough ....

P11 is too far in the background . Checo will get in trouble in the traffic . Overtaking on this track is very hard !

So excited F1 is back! I'm a Mclaren fan, but I love seeing Max driving well. He's definitely the individual driver I always watch out for.

Did anyone see Alonso drive? Not bad after his time away, having his jaw fractured eh? Just turning it on now...

That's what Max was saying yesterday, the wind would be worse and the damaged floor he had contributed to him just licking the 28's when there could may have been more to come.

I noticed that too. Checo was way behind. But, I'll give him benefit of doubt as this Red Bull car could be much different than his previous Racing Point. I still feel Albon kind of got screwed.

Being Max's teammate has to suck lol I'd love to see Max challenge Ham and win his first world title this year

I think this season will be much more competitive than years past. The top 10 in qualifying are all within almost 1 sec of each other. If all these cars hold up, and depending on each team's strategies, this season could be exciting!
