The other teams aren’t spending the money that RB is, well the exception of Ferrari. RB has no excuses, but you seem to come up with lots.

Merc has a “spaceship” as you call it because they have developed a better car, through a better overall team. Funny how they can do that when their budget is roughly the same as RB and they are paying their #1 driver substantially more than RB out of that budget.

What you continue to fail to realize is that fact.

Merc’s team, top to bottom is hands down the best team in the grid right now, so it’s no wonder they have the results to show for it..

How do you think the car got so good? The answer is driver feedback. Paddy Lowe, himself, said that Sir Lewis makes a difference in testing, qualifying, and racing.

Remember, he's kicked ass in every car he's driven. He got wins in the McLaren MP4-24 which was judged in raw speed by Autosport as the 6th fastest car in 2009. Let that run by your brain very slowly. He achieved 2 wins and 4 pole positions in the 6th fastest car on the grid. This was determined by math, not feelings, which is something RB and VER fans seem to run away from.

Your guy is ok but it is no Sir Lewis. Never has been and never will be.

A massive fail was it for the guy with "zero" driver points ,but suddenly he was just cruising to the victory in the Merc's spaceship .

Mercedes is just currently running in a 'sweet spot' they aren't the only team to have 'won everything' for a limited time. It's a combination of car, driver & the team.

Actually Mercedes is 'only' currently ranked joint 4th, with Lotus as most successful team & have a long way to go to catch Ferrari but could well become the second most successful team, unless Button can help to get Williams back on a winning streak

Latest news is that McLaren now have doubts about the Merc engines' fit/performance as the vote for engine freeze, sprint races and other things is in progress.
