Go to my profile and you'll see that I have a picture uploaded, but it doesn't show up in my posts. I've tried deleting and reuploading. I expect this is user error, so maybe someone can be of assistance.

Try to find out what's wrong with your picture: download and re-upload as yours a predefined picture or someone else's that works. Once you have it displayed (that's to make sure the issue is with your picture, not the profile doesn't work as expected) inspect its graphical properties and make the picture you want match (then upload it instead of the test one, of course ).

I had the same problem but I fixed it because "profile picture" and "avatar" pictures are different images. the latter is the one shown in posts, the other is the one used in your garage or elsewhere

Mine showed that I uploaded a proper size image and previewed it properly..but didnt bind to my actual signature. I hosted my signature on some free image hosting site and just linked to it from within the body of the signature area.
