I don't think anyone but them & Kia do it. I've used & had it on a few cars & never did that & cars always stay locked till you unlock em & if no one enters, it's on a timer to shut the car off in 15 minutes so anti-theft wouldn't be legit reason IMO

Agree. I thought the Germans have been at it for at least a decade. Maybe not as efficient but same process
