Central Air Filters
What brand are you using? I had the #10 home debot Honeywell filters for a few years and they worked pretty well but only for a few days before I noticed the air quality was the same as with the old filter. Recently switched to 3M Filtrete which looks like better quality and I feel like it filters better after a week. It's supposed to be replaced after 90 days like the Honeywell filter. What filter do you recommend?

I not too picky, 3M is a good name, I don’t like going three months so I’m constantly checking the element. If it looks too gray I change it.

How wide are your filters? These are the ones we use. These are for a full HVAC system

I change mine every month during the winter since we are home more and have pets. I also use 3M. My filter size is 20x20x1 so the shallow depth make them clog fairly fast. I use the top grade ones, I think around $30 per filtet when bought multi pack.
