GreyHours - a Micro Brand

Just bought one of these - inexpensive - but I have always liked "micro brands" and feel that they deserve to be supported

Nice looking if you're into Movado Museum pieces. Looks like quartz movements which I've little interest in. All their eyewash focuses on the case, crystal, and straps and none on their engines.

Not bad, I guess, depending on how much they actually go for.

On the lower cost quartz end, I've had really good luck with Tissot watches. The Sapphire Crystal they source is great and the watches are built well...lots of value for the money IMO.

Watches like this are "fun" - provided, as you say, you buy them at the "right" price - I got mine off a guy who bought it, tried it on once inside the house and then decided he would never wear it - so I paid about 60% of retail

I'll wear it occasionally for dinner and it will generate "watch talk" around the table

And then again, there is only one of their watches which isn't sold out. No go for me.

what a stupid company. i thought the watches looked very ordinary but even if i did like one; they are ALL sold out. I decided to look at the straps which looked decent and again ALL sold out.

they should just shut their page down and say "sold out"

my guess is they are trying to look like there is a lot of demand....LOL. doesn't quite work well when there's nothing available on the site!

SKIP.

In the flesh they are unusual but not really anything special - but for £100 ish you are not risking much - the straps are quiet nice.

Not sure why they are always out of stock as watches like these are cheap to produce
