•Clean, clear South Carolina title
•Purchased in 2013 with 165,000 miles; today it has 212,000.
•Sapphire Black Metallic over Sand Beige, Anthracite Headliner, Wood Trim
•Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires with 30k miles. (Center tread RF 6/32, LF 7/32, LR 6/32, RR 6/32 - new tread depth is 10/32). Very even wear indicates proper F/R suspension alignment.
•17” Style 66 wheels powder-coated silver in 2015.
•"Comfort" seats - 16-way adjustments
•Tan "Cocomats.com" sisal floor mats front and back
•"Weathertech" cargo liner, OEM cargo cover with cargo/et restraint net
•Mesh fabric window shades on rear doors, rear windows, tailgate (Can be removed)
•USA-SPEC PA-11 iPod mount in center console cubby for 30-pin iPod (in place of CD-Changer)



Since 2013 the following major repairs have been done/replaced parts:

•New rear upper thrust and control arms+ball joints, sway bar links, ball joints, air bag “springs”
New subframe bushings
New rear u-joint, drive shaft, center bearing, flex disc, transmission mounts.
•New front control arms+ball joints, sway bar links, bearing carriers (damaged by mechanic), wheel bearings.
New valley pan, water pump, dual heater valve, radiator, hoses, fan clutch.
New timing chain guides, tensioner, new VANOS seals, new VANOS solenoids.
Rebuilt ABS brake controller (Module Masters).
Brand new Hella Xenon headlight assemblies with Lamin-x protectors. (Hella from Umnitza).
•Factory rear spoiler.
•Umnitza front bumper cover to replace cracked original.
•Inside *everything* works, A/C, sunroof, seats, all pixels on dash (MID missing four pixels).
•Dozens of smaller repairs to plastic parts, window regulators, rear door vapor shields, new windshield surround, fixed seat twist, windshield washer pump motors, lights, tailgate struts, repaired lower engine covers and brake air ducts, wheel liners, etc.
The body has no rust anywhere, not even on the tailgate. The high-gloss trim around the rear side windows shows some bubbling, but no rust showing. Paint is good to excellent, resprayed hood, front bumper cover.

Problems:

•Rear main seal and transmission pump seal have slow leaks, leaves a quarter-sized drip when parked.
•Power steering hose has usual slow leak.
•Transmission has a quiet rumble (shudder) when accelerating through 50 mph.



Additional information:

•All maintenance/repair records since May 2013
•Full set of printed owner's manuals in leather binder (not original to this vehicle)
•Bentley BMW 5-Series Service Manual (Two volumes)
•Rebuilt windshield washer tubing with dual feed to windshield nozzles, new windshield washer pumps (4), new headlight intensive wash nozzles
•New acoustic liner under hood
•Viton rubber O-ring for power steering reservoir, does not leak
•New dual heater valve, new hoses
•New windshield surround rubber seal
•New driver’s door window regulator, new lock mechanism
•New driver’s seat skirt
•New main seal around driver’s door
•“Seat twist” repair for driver’s seat and back
•Replacement MID with only 5-6 pixels out (driver’s console has no pixels out, see photos)
•Replaced broken buttons on climate control
•Moon-roof tracks cleaned and lubricated, drains cleared
•USA-Spec II iPod interface (30-pin) built into center console cubby, replaces factory CD changer
•Tailgate surround trim repaired
•Tailgate regularly inspected cleaned and inspected for rust
•Rear license tag mount trimmed for European-look
•Side door bumper strips are body-color painted (Schwarz), not faded, sun-bleached pebbly plastic
•Original rubber cargo tie-downs
•Tool kit includes original screwdriver, two wrenches, pliers and replacement bulbs
•Rear“vapor barriers” repaired both sides, NO water intrusion
•New hard rubber lift points (four)
•Tailgate light assembly swapped for “newer, shinier” European editions, originals retained and included
•Rear storage includes original sub-floor, dividers, jack, tow-eye, X lug wrench
•Replaced gas/spring struts on tailgate and rear windows (includes new set of window struts)

I will provide any photos, videos, etc. as requested. Vehicle is in Myrtle Beach SC.

This is a great automobile, a superb example of the E39 generation BMW which I drive two thousand miles to Maine and back every year without a second thought.
