Are any of you comfortable dropping off your brand new M5 to detailer for a few days?

I certainly am not but am dying to get protection on my baby.
God knows they are going to drive it like they stole it for a few blocks at least.I know I would LOL

I typically check my mileage when I drop the car off and when I pick it back up.

I did but I trust this guy like family. He applied my xpel and is the only guy I will let touch my automobiles. Anybody else probably not.

You should find someone or close friend that knows the detailers if you don't have one.
And get reviews, talk to them until you feel comfortable in leaving your baby with them.
You can also install a dashcam prior, so you'll have proof if things not right.

Don’t trust the dealers at all. I had a local guy do my xpel ultimate. He even came to my house. He is located in danbury, ct. C and J paint protection film. Just google for the website and phone number. Extremely professional.

Most detailers commonly work on much nicer cars than M5s, but that shouldn't matter. Whether it's a 20-year-old shitbox or a Bugatti, cars are treated with a lot of care.

For businesses like those, reputation is everything. A joyride is just not worth the risk.
