It's not the Islam, it's their 16th century mindset - Christianity wasn't any better back then. I know many modern Muslims who are just as horrified by ISIS as I am by the witch hunts and Inquisition. Perhaps time to take another look at assimilation as something other than just oppression - can't have a world of laws-over-men and civil rights without some degree of restriction upon these theocratic totalitarians.
