yep, both the side and me seem straight..
Could have been worse.

Rain will be coming so I will have to get a tarp to try to close the gap in trunk.

I'd get that into your fav body shop.

Tell them you need a rental car stat!

Might have it back for the holiday instead.

yeah, I doubt I can find one sat. Already filed claim in STateF app. Will try a couple of places monday. Got places to travel over the holidays.. and I dont want no damn yaris..

Have the body shop handle the business make sure they are state farm approved - tell them you need a car and they will have you drop off your car and will get the rental agency to pick you up. DONE!

Also dont forget to go for diminished value. After going through a sale with my last car, I didn't realize how much money I would lose from an "accident" (minor fender bender, other driver fault) showing up on my carfax.

Looks like the same blue that was on my E53 which isn't too far off from blue painters tape...it'll look nicer than a tarp and didn't damage my paint after left on for a month. Start from the back of the trunk so you can overlap working your way forward so that wind won't pull it up.

yeah, only a big gap at the deck lid by the rear window. Managed to keep it dry last night. I think I found a place that can get it in on monday so should be back by late next week.

Being rear ended is not good. I almost got rear ended the other morning as well. I was driving and my eyes were multi tasking between traffic up front and the teenage girl behind me who was driving and playing with her iPhone. The cars in front of me came to a stop and the girl behind me had her eyes glued to her iPhone I thought for sure she would not stop and rear end me so I immediately hit my horn and kept my hand on my horn. The girl heard the horn and threw her iPhone away into the passenger side seat after looking really shocked. The guy in front of me thought I was honking at him and had major cow while in fact I was honking to wake the girl up which was behind me to keep all of us from being rear ended. It worked though. Two in front of me got really angry but the lady behind me was saved along with all of us from being rear ended.
