This does not seem to be a problem for everyone, My wife got her new phone and use outlook, but her company uses 365 so the mail server is in the cloud and so far no problems. Not sure what are the specifics of those who are having it issues.

I will also second (or third) that increased battery drainage appears to be an issue with iOS 11. I noticed it on my 6 plus. However, my wife mentioned that her 6s was doing the same thing. Not horrendous overall. However, it appears to be draining much more overnight when idle than it did before the update.

There has never been any evidence of the iOS reducing battery time under normal usage after an upgrade. |

The new update was running well at first....Then shit started going bad....
Ringtone volume goes from maximum to minimum rapidly if I try changing it in settings. Losing WiFi connectivity more frequently. Random freezing. Going from vertical to horizontal view sometimes messes with the display and icons become misplaced. Random lag. Etc |

I would add the following update, however. I had recently added the Outlook app to my phone. At this point, I think it’s possible that that app was doing far too many fetches and activities in the background. After removing it, battery life seems much improved. Of course, during the same time, iOS 11.0.2 has been applied. So, perhaps that has helped resolved some initial issues with the rollout of the new iOS. |

slightly unrelated but is anyone fed up with how greedy and unethical the current US cellphone providers are? If you even discount the bs charges, massive monthly plan costs, they have now all transistioned to some bullshit installment option on these phones to further screw people... whats even funnier, is that at&t and verizon will not sell you an unlocked phone even if you pay full cash price equal to apple's full price... wtf lol

I have a 6s+ as my company phone... Runs OK, but I put just the bare minimum amount of apps on it, especially if the cheapos only got the lowest storage tier and I don't want to jam-pack the sucker. The battery life does seem a bit shorter though; if I don't have significant calls, I only had to charge it every 3-4 days but now it seems like every 2 days.
Also I never had an issue with Exchange even on the first day, but then again I used the Outlook app instead of Mail so that I can also have global address book, especially since I work for a conglomerate and manage users with 7 different email domains. Also 11.0.3 just got released, so I don't know if that closes some bad open doors and opens others.
