those look like 35s on 20" wheels, so probably a 4" lift. Those are wicked aggressive offsets, though!

Think ill also check out the hemi jgc, but when gas ultimately goes back up, and it will, I'd rather only have one guzzler. The N54 135 is pretty horrid on gas.
I would buy a VW/Audi/Porsche V6 diesel without reservation. The Cayenne Diesels are sweet, but will likely be hard to come by if they end up with the same buy back deal that was used for VW's. I had a diesel Golf and couldn't afford NOT to sell it back. I used it as an excuse to buy another BMW.

That's what I'm thinking. I ran 35s with a 3" Teraflex and it looked similar but I really like the 4" on this one.

I wonder how these would hold up on a trail rather than mall crawling

not well. My son has a JKU with a 4" lift and 35's. It doesn't have a ton of clearance. Can rub at full extension. Really need a 6" lift with 35's for serious off roading.

This is terrible advice and it's obvious to me you have no idea what you are taking about in regards to JK's. Honestly you should not be giving advice on that subject.

You need the lowest lift possible for a low center of gravity and stability off-road. You can run 35's on a jk with no lift and flat or cut fenders and wheel the piss out of it. It would actually be as capable off-road (or more) than just about anything you can buy in North America.

Or you can run 2" lift and stock fenders for 35's and have a beast off-road. I've wheeled with hundreds of jeeps and never seen a JK with 6" lift on a real trail, it would not do well because it would be tipsy and unstable.

Here's mine with 37" tires 3" of lift and flat fenders. It's been wheeled extensively on the hardest trails in the southeast US and has over 100k miles with no issues. Nothing rubs with 12" travel shocks...

My father has a 2013 Grand Cherokee Hemi 5.7L with almost 100k miles on it. Water pump was replaced under warranty, and that was it. It runs and drives perfect, and has plenty of power. It is a beast in the snow with the AWD snow mode. He pulls a twin axle dump trailer with it every other weekend. The 5.7L is rated to tow 7400lbs in the GC.

This is his second Grand Cherokee, his first was a 1999 4.7L Limited which he traded with over 200k miles.
