The ability to accommodate "FLAR" suggests they're not exactly shoehorning batteries as with past hybrids. It's more like the BEVs will have a totally separate chassis. It should be fairly close to a custom design. You can't have 90kWh pack with transmission tunnel, or have a motor in the center of the car in their ICE variant. Seems like the proposed platform has a rather extreme degree of modularity.
