The methodology used for this is flawed. It's well known that lemons in the Audi community are referred to simply as "Audis."

That list makes no sense. Audi, Porsche,BMW, Mini, Alfa, MB....all have fewer lemons then Lexus, Toyota, and Honda lol....yeah right.

VW owns Audi... I know that VW's main goal is to build/sell cars. Period. Then they let their dealers "fix" the cars. They don't care IF they are working properly or not. I saw so many Lemon VW's delivered when I use to work at a VW dealership. Buy backs are just part of doing business as far as VAG is concerned. For Porsche(or old Porsche) and BMW & MB... they have different priorities that just pumping out units. I even remember touring Volkswagen in Wolfsburg where they had lines of car in the factory to have a second or third go at QC. lol What a joke.

These surveys are usually worthless. I don't see anything about ownership period on there, it is usually less than 2 years. I'm sure everyone with an N54 thought they were dead reliable after 15-20k miles.

It looks similar to the J.D. Power survey where they considered uncomfortable seats and infotainment glitches to be in the same category as engine failures.
