We actually had a similar one, but not as crazy expensive as that must have been!
Turbo RDX. Engine started to overheat because the coolant in the rad froze, was below -50C. Kept driving, seriously overheated. Melted the exhaust port of the head where it bolts to the turbo manifold, and the manifold. Molten aluminium down the back of the engine, all over the turbo, transmission and transfer case. |

Oh fuck, all the time. If the car has 10 "Black Ice" air fresheners, you know there will be some. Have found empty bullet casings, shotgun shells under seats, drug paraphernalia, a glove box FULL of various dildos, even saw about $50k cash sitting in a glove box once.
Best I think was the "award" I saw in one trunk for being part of a Guinness Book of World Records largest reverse gang bang attempt. Double gloved working on that car. Edit: If you have a bunch of these hanging from your mirror, The whole world knows you are smoking dope like a chimney in your car. Last edited by MightyMouseTech; 03-15-2017 at 03:52 PM.. |

Wish I had the photo but I saw the aftermath of a connecting rod on a 1.9 VW TDI engine exiting out the side of the block
It was quite a neat new inspection port...... |

No but I found the drugs themselves a few times.
One time I had just gotten into a guy's TR6 to drive it into the service bay and he came running out of the showroom, reached in the window, and snagged the blunt from the ashtray. I just smiled. |
