Last minute change
I just changed my order from Bluestone with Ivory to Mediterranean Blue with Cognac. Hope I've done the right thing!

I am confused in my daskboard trim.... btw Piano black and Fineline Ridge and even the Matte finish Cove........ cant seem to make up my mind
I loved the Bluestone as I saw it live... but I cant have a very light white trim as it will be hard to clean and denim leaving marks and all... and am tired of black interior. I have all black right now... Cognac wont match with bluestone.. |

I had ivory leather in my 550, and wore denim jeans everyday of that 36 month lease--no stains at all. Never cleaned and/or treated the leather once. Don't be afraid to order light color interior leather option

Good choice in my book.

Thanks. I know the Bluestone is nice and would be easier to keep clean than Med. Blue but I just think the Med. Blue is classiec and will go better with the Cognac.
I was pretty convinced about the Poplar Grain Grey trim (4LQ) but now I'm starting to think about the Fineline Cove (4LH). |

yes, I can vouch for it. I did have issues with make-up (foundation) in the passenger area from my lovely wife (nothing that couldn't be cleaned up with ease), but never with denim.

Orgininally my choice was Med Blue with Cognac but I switched to Carbon Black and Ivory. Love the Ames Blue but my last 3 BMWs have been some sort of light blue and I wanted a change.
And after sitting in the Nappa seats I fell in love with the feeling versus the Dakota. I wish the Cognac came in Nappa like the 7 series but anyway the Ivory is not as white as I thought it would be. I'll just have to be cognizant of any stains to clean them right away. The leather is treated already so I'm not too worried. I'm more worried for the perforations and things getting in the fine holes, as I've never had to deal with that before, than the seats staining.

We have a light grey colour in our e61. It had always discoloured somewhat with varying colours of clothes and you can see the wear over the years. But I've never noticed specific denim marks etc. I think the worst was my dark brown leather jacket used to leave some stains on the backrest.
