Monterey Car Week is one of our favorite events of the year, it gives us the opportunity to show what we can do with some of the world's most exotic cars in front of a very knowledgeable and discerning crowd. Finding the right balance of aggression and elegance can be tricky when you start with a car as gorgeous as the 488 GTB, but we do love the challenge.

The TAG Motorsports 488 GTB got a new look for Car Week courtesy of a very unique set of wheels from HRE, the Frozen Gold finish truly pops against the Rosso Corsa body and yellow brake calipers of our car and the P101 style looks as great here as ever. Novitec's Sport Spring Set coupled with the adjustable factory spring perches gives us the flexibility to adjust ride height to perfectly match any setup we have on the car, we currently have the car about 1.3" below factory ride height which feels just right in person. The Novitec exhaust system has been the most universally-loved upgrade so far, the 488 GTB sounds fine in stock form but is very tame in comparison to other V8-powered Ferraris of the modern era. The Novitec complete exhaust system unleashes the natural howl of this powerful motor and makes the car truly scream under full throttle acceleration. Factor in the Novitec Engine Software and you have a nearly 800hp beast.

2016 Rosso Corsa 488 GTB Full Modification List
- HRE P101 Wheels in Frozen Gold Finish (Brushed Matte Gold) 20" Front 21" Rear

We know the spoiler can be an acquired taste (or not ), but we are pretty happy with the overall look. Spoiler or not, this thing looks absolutely menacing in your rear view mirror. And even better right in front of you.

Sad news, the P101’s have been sold.

Good news, more wheels for the R8 and the M3

Garage List
Such beautiful lines to this car...beautiful. Love all the mods, especially the diffuser and side skirts. Other than the wheel color with the caliper color, I love everything...but I wouldn't kick it out of the garage!

Yes, it's such a shame that red with gold wheels doesn't have, oh, a metric shit ton of history.

I ran charcoal on my red M Coupe, but considered bronze. It's certainly not for everyone, but the above Fezza looks great to my eyes.

Thank you very much! The diffuser is absolutely bonkers. I gotta find another photo I took that really shows how absurd it really is.

Read below. It was a nod to all the heritage behind Scuderia and a celebration of our modern take on such an iconic color scheme. To each their own

Also great to note that you can order any Ferrari with gold wheels from factory.

Thank you! We rock Satin Bronze P204’s on it now and we love the look.

Believe me, it almost had ME the first time I drove it. Let’s just say you become VERY thankful for the steering wheel basically yelling at you when it’s time to shift. If you try to pay attention to the tachometer for just a second too long, you’ve covered 12 miles and missed your exit/apex
