Wish I knew when I moved here that there was a light rail line (Metro Gold Line)... Since I slept with the windows open earlier for the first time since it somehow got up to 90°F, it sounds like some sort of UFO landing with a high-pitched shrill every time it whooshes by.

Belgi, where you at? I'm next door hanging out at Frankfurt airport Germany. Not enough layover time to visit the ring or anything though. They have a new 7series dropped and on display. Large and in charge that thing is.

Weighed in today 30 pounds lighter than when i started tracking calories in mid July 2015. Yay!
2 more pounds and i break the 200 pound barrier. Haven't been under 200 pounds since 2001 and even then it was a short visit. Pretty much been between 220 and 235 since the end of high school.

I smoked ribs and beans the other day. Beans were amazing. Ribs had a huge smoke ring but were slightly drier than I planned. I didn't really brine them:
I forgot to take an after picture but Probably the best ribs I have ever made. Amazing bark, deep smoke ring. Beans were just phenomenal. I picked up some Meth(free!) from a nice forum member for my new addiction. 5 Gallons unopened. 3 gallons in the red tank 80/20 mix: Oh I smoked a chicken the other day. Juiciest chicken I have ever had(Brined it before). Amazing smoke flavor. Probably the best chicken I have ever made other than my fried chicken. That is all.

I ditched that calorie app after playing with it for a week or two, since it didn't meet any of my goals and was more of a novelty to see how many kCals I was shoving in my face each day. A few years ago, I was at 190ish and while that may be in the range for a 6'0" ectomorph, I'm hardly that body type. Within a few months, there was a noticeable weight loss with no change in diet or exercise. Stabilized at about 30ish off and went in for a few tests with endo, gastro, radiologist, and maybe another doc. Found two lesions in my liver and tested neg for celiacs and everything else. By this time I was 159. Whoever hasn't lost 35 pounds of fat has no idea just how good that feels. Confidence, stamina, energy, outlook, posture...all up. Prior to that, my exercise was 3-4 days at the gym and pretending to be healthy. I started running at that time and I haven't stopped since. The alone time, clarity, adrenaline...all addictive and this morning, I was at 165 with a 20 BMI after two good run times this week. I'm curious to see if the metabolism would change if I cut out the booze and eat at home more. Someone keeps recommending fish and that seems to be the only concession I made as far as dietary changes. |

I mean, I honestly spend more on Bowser than most people do on their own kids. Vet bills, raw daily cooked food, filtered bottled water, toys, airfare when he travels with me, facials every other week-
It's tough being a single parent!

I heard about this thingy where you stake out a guy and put a cage or pot of rats on his stomach. Of course the pot/cage has to be upside down so the critters can tickle his tummy. Heat up the cage/pot and the rats get all freaked out and try to escape. In the rodent world, rats have an inordinately strong ripping and tearing motion with their head and they'll use it to good effect when defending themselves or trying to escape danger...like a hot pot. Only direction to go is down, so the dude is kinda feeling Mickey...
Yeah...that was the most terrifying thing I heard today. |

Kind of what I was shooting for, glad I can finally say I executed a plan without 50 issues inbetween.
By the time I got done, could probably start moving on to the Olympics |
