BMW Website Car Configurator

This really is a tip that only applies to UK users of the BMW website Car Configurator.
If, when you're using the configurator, you decide to keep an image for reference, or to post up somewhere, the image will always show a left hand drive vehicle. Whilst this might be fine for those of you elsewhere who drive on the 'wrong' side of the road, we need our steering wheel on the proper side !
So, flip the image horizontally, then remove any letters, for example the registration plate, then you have your steering wheel 'correctly' placed.

Yes, but is there a good reason ?
Surely not simply that Napoleon was left handed ?
Oh . . . and the USA wanted to break all links with it's former British colonial past.

There was a 'rumour' going around some years ago that the Irish were considering changing from driving on the left, to driving on the right.
Apparently their plan was for cars to make the change on the first Sunday in January, and buses and trucks to do it the following Sunday . . apparently

ahh...yes....the incremental approach....don't see what could possibly go wrong there. You have to take baby steps when making these sort of changes
