E39 Passenger Side module for Auto-Folding mirrors

Hi,

I've done a retro-fit on my E39 the following way:

- Bought left and right mirror of ebay
- I tested the mirrors by briefly connecting 12V on them to see if they folded.
- I put the driver side door control module with the button to fold the mirrors.
- I installed the folding mirrors on the car

Driver side folds and is controlled (adjusting mirror). Passenger side is adjustable, but doesn't fold.

According to a lot of posts I learned I needed module 61.35-6.904.248 as passenger side module. I got the module (incl. warranty even) from ebay and want to install it. I however am not able to find where this module in my E39 exactly should be.

Is it behind the door-panel? So have to take off the door-panel the same way as I would have to when replacing speakers etc?

Or is it somewhere else?

I would appreciate it a lot if someone could tell me. Would save me a lot of time searching the car and perhaps senseless opening up of stuff.
