Fantasy Football Top Players
Since Football season is coming soon. Who is your favorite players or who do you consider to be in your top 5 must have players.
I think I want Peyton Manning. I saved me last year and I came in 2nd place for the season Last edited by investmentbanker; 08-06-2014 at 10:43 AM.. |

draft position is crucial, top picks though shady mccoy, jamal charles, megatron, peyton for sure is the top qb in almost all mock drafts. If you can get a top RB, do it bc they are at a premium this year. Theres tons of WR depth

I totally agree. RB first round depending on draft position. I always seem to be one of the last picks every year. Hopefully this year will be different. I was 11/12 last year and barely held on throughout. But i did make it to playoffs. The year before that I was like 9th pick but injuries on other players teams helped and got me second. Istill think I should've won. SO EXCITED for the season to start!!

I have been so busy that I have not done any research for next weeks draft. I need to get going on this unless someone sends me over their draft list

There are a lot of Fantasy Football Podcasts available for free. I just listen to them while I'm driving - easy studying. Keep in mind, they tend to focus mostly on snake drafts as opposed to auction drafts.

I've Picked Brees 1st rd the last 4 years with a top RB in the 2nd followed by a WR in the 3rd. I've finished top 4 in my league (12 teams) every year and won it 2 years ago with this strategy.

A lot of who I grab depends on draft slot and who's available. If I get one of the top 4 then I will most certainly be starting my picks with a RB but I think after that I would be looking at who's available with a heavy WR focus. I ended my season last year with an AJ/Dez/Graham combo and it rocked. 100% of my RBs were pickups and I was one Jamaal Charles 6TD game away from winning back to back trophies.
I feel comfortable doing this because I think there is some pretty good depth to be found later in the draft at RB and especially at QB. Of course if I draft late 1st round and Peyton is available... well yeah Ill probably grab him. |
