Maserati Ghibli S
bumped into a friend of mine with his new Ghibli when going out for supercar spotting/breakfast yesterday; he had an E92 M3 before, so it was a rather surprising switch...
had some fun revving it and it sounded a lot more awesome (in sport mode) than I expected it to...sounds like the f-type V6, if the top gear review is any indication of how one sounds, albeit not as loud. the interior is quite nice; the touchscreen interface seems a bit stupid for driving, though. also wish the seats had better side bolsters, as I found myself sliding around a surprising amount...met up again at night to take some photos - they were taken around 11pm-5am, which is why the city might look kinda dead LOL Maserati Ghibli S by - Icy J -, on Flickr Maserati Ghibli S by - Icy J -, on Flickr Maserati Ghibli S by - Icy J -, on Flickr Maserati Ghibli S by - Icy J -, on Flickr Maserati Ghibli S by - Icy J -, on Flickr Maserati Ghibli S by - Icy J -, on Flickr Maserati Ghibli S by - Icy J -, on Flickr Maserati Ghibli S by - Icy J -, on Flickr Maserati Ghibli S by - Icy J -, on Flickr (yeah, I like the front a lot better than the back)

Very nice photos as always. Great job on the processing and neutralizing the light pollution. So many digital night shots in urban areas tend to have an overly yellow hue cast over them from light pollution, this set is a breath of fresh air compared to the masses of such shots. Well done.
I am not sure about this car, still. It looks nice yet it's a V6 and the new Maserati designs feel watered down and less Italian to me; especially the rear lights. Something looks off about them, like they are off a Kia or something. Then again I've never liked the Quattropprte looks either, so could be just me. |

Nice shots, but I hate that they reused that classic name and put it on a four-door!
The original Ghibli was a very special, unforgettable design.
