This kid is something special right here damnit! He is gonna TERRORIZE the field next year on some NFL team. And he may get selected #1 overall First Round in this years Draft: Jadeveon Clowney

I still think these guys should be performing all drills in pads...yes they are fast and atheletic without, but I would be more curious to see how they move in full pads...just sayin...

How's his field vision? His ability to fill the lane? Tackling ability?

These combine test are nice physical test, but so many players who have had impressive combines have come and gone.

Jerry Rice ran a 4.7 40 yard dash btw.

another great point...if his football iq is crap, it's all for not...

but you gotta have good physically and mentally to succeed....

but too much emphasis on speed and strength the last couple of years IMO

He was also chronically injured during his junior year. Not a good sign for a potential #1 draft pick.

Those of you who keep up with and have monitored the game over the last 5yrs or so particularly, know that the game is speeding up considerably! He has the tangibles that teams/coaches covet. Trust me.
No human is perfect. But for his stature he is a beast and I can't see him going less than #3 overall.
We shall see...

Clowney quit on his team last year to protect his draft status.

A physical freak of nature for sure though.

hes an absolute monster, at that size being able to run that fast is incredible. Texans most likely will take manziel but watt and clowney would be insane
